Ukraine and Russia have conducted multiple prisoner of war (POW) exchanges since June 2025 under agreements reached during peace talks in Istanbul. Zelensky emphasized the ongoing effort to free all Ukrainians held captive by Russia. The exchanges are part of the Istanbul agreements, which both sides continue to implement amid the ongoing conflict.
