Russia is preparing to launch attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure as temperatures drop, according to National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksii Danilov. Ukraine is taking measures to protect its energy infrastructure from Russian missile and drone strikes. There have been reports of explosions in several regions of Ukraine, including Kharkov, Vinnitsa, Kirovograd, and Khmelnytsky. Allies of Ukraine are rushing to provide defenses against winter drone attacks, although some of the latest US systems are being held back. Last winter, Ukraine experienced drone strikes on its electrical networks.
