Thousands of protesters have gathered in Armenia's capital, Yerevan, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan over his decision to cede several border villages to Azerbaijan. The protests, which have been ongoing, saw Armenian police detain 88 people who were attempting to block streets in the city. The demonstrations have been led by the 'Tavush for the Motherland' movement, whose leader, Archbishop Bagrat, has called for Pashinyan's ouster. The police have detained more than 63 people in the city center, bringing the total number of detained protesters to over 150, including 50 people detained earlier.
