Poll: GOP Distrusts 'Far-Right' Influencers Pool and Posobiec, Team DeSantis Label Backfires
A recent national poll by WPA Intelligence has revealed diverging views on the influence of certain media personalities and online influencers. While Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens are recognized and trusted by many Republicans, the poll indicates that influencers such as Tim Pool and Jack Posobiec, labeled as 'far-right influencers,' are not widely known or trusted within the party, with very few Republicans acknowledging them. Despite this, a report highlighted by media outlets including Mediaite and The Post Millennial claims that Posobiec and Pool have a significant national reach, with 28% of the entire US population familiar with Posobiec and 31% with Pool. The framing of Pool and Posobiec as 'far-right influencers' has been contested by some, including Posobiec himself who expressed disbelief over being labeled as such by Team DeSantis. A DeSantis Super PAC's attempt to smear Posobiec and Pool has reportedly backfired, with the poll finding that they reach an audience of over 100 million Americans.
