Rogan’s remarks highlight growing criticism that the administration’s deportation drive has strayed from an earlier pledge to focus on violent offenders. Data cited in the Daily Beast indicates a rising share of migrants arrested in recent months have no criminal history. The White House and the Department of Homeland Security have not publicly responded to Rogan’s comments.
