Israeli Forces Continue Home Demolitions in Jenin and Nour Shams Camps, Displacing 25,000 Palestinians to Build Military Roads

Israeli military forces have continued a prolonged campaign of demolishing Palestinian homes in the Jenin and Nour Shams refugee camps located in the northern occupied West Bank. This systematic destruction, ongoing for several weeks in Jenin and for over two months in Nour Shams, involves bulldozers razing residential buildings and infrastructure. The demolitions aim to establish new roads to facilitate Israeli military operations in these areas. As a result of the campaign in Jenin, more than 25,000 Palestinians have been displaced.

The destruction has been described as extensive, with reports highlighting the transformation of the camps into disaster zones and accusations from Palestinians that the demolitions are altering the camps’ geographical and demographic structures.
