Multiple individuals have been sentenced for defrauding the USDA through food stamp fraud schemes. A man received a 20-year sentence for stealing $2.6 million in SNAP benefits, while another individual fled the US after a $10 million fraud operation targeting food benefits program. Additionally, a mushroom farmer was sentenced to 46 months in prison for his involvement in a similar scheme. Another man was convicted in Salt Lake City for a scam costing over half a million dollars.
