Thomas Webster, a retired New York police officer, was convicted of five felonies and one misdemeanor related to the riot and is challenging his conviction. In Rapid City, South Dakota, a man has been arrested by the FBI for his actions during the insurrection, including shoving a 'giant' metal sign toward police. Another individual has pleaded guilty to assaulting an officer and attacking an AP photographer during the riot.
