Representatives Robert Garcia, Annie Kuster, and Morgan McGarvey, along with Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, have acknowledged the significant federal funding provided by HUD. Long Beach and Louisville have been awarded over $10 million and $17 million respectively, to combat homelessness and enhance community services. The Long Island City Revitalization Initiative also received a $10 million grant for sustainable development. These funds will support services for unhoused residents in Long Beach, provide safe housing and resources in New Hampshire, and promote responsible development in New York City.
This is wonderful news! This $10 M grant for the Long Island City Revitalization Initiative will help support sustainable and responsible development in one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in NYC. Congratulations to @LICPartnership and all who helped make this possible. https://t.co/u6h6wncieH
