Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital Ceases Operations, WHO Reports Dire Situation with No Power, Water, Electricity, Newborns at Risk

The Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical complex in Gaza, is in a dire situation as more than 60% of Gaza's hospitals and medical centers are out of service. The hospital has been targeted by Israeli warplanes and is isolated without power, water, or electricity. Patients, including newborns, are at imminent risk. The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that Al-Shifa Hospital is no longer functioning as a hospital, and the number of deaths has significantly increased. The situation is described as dire and perilous by the WHO, with all hospitals in northern Gaza now out of service, except for the Baptist Hospital, which has limited services.
