Explosion in Central Luhansk Leaves At Least One Dead

An explosion shook the centre of Russian-controlled Luhansk on Thursday, killing at least one person and injuring several others, according to preliminary information from local emergency services cited by state-run agencies TASS and RIA Novosti.

The blast occurred near the city’s local history museum, where an opening ceremony for an exhibition devoted to Operation “Potok” was under way.
