Turning Point USA (TPUSA) faces criticism for its impact on the conservative movement, with claims of negative influence, resource drain, and failure to attract support. Critics highlight TPUSA's reliance on money for influencers, poor event attendance, and lack of substantive wins, leading to a decline in young conservative voters. The organization is accused of prioritizing financial gains over genuine political engagement, alienating serious political participants.
By the way, this isn’t just because we’re on a liberal campus. YAF events draw hundreds of people. It is specifically because Turning Point is a garbage organization that no one serious about politics wants to be affiliated with. https://t.co/B0OLWaSrZU
Where is he wrong? TPUSA has sucked nine figures out of the conservative movement with no substantive wins. In fact, we continue to hemorrhage young voters despite them raising more money each year. https://t.co/oucI2gi7a3
TPUSA at UW-Madison tabled for three weeks straight, covered campus with flyers, and practically begged people to come. Even after all of that, they could barely fill three rows. This is what happens when your national organization actively harms conservative causes. https://t.co/Ov5jWX7V47
TPUSA at UW-Madison aggressively tabled for three weeks straight and had flyers covering campus, but they could barely fill three rows. (This is what happens when your organization is run by groyper incels.) https://t.co/I6AnMt2x8C
TPUSA is a massively negative force for the conservative movement. It sucks up resources, elevates repulsive people and backs terrible candidates who lose elections. But they pay tons of money to conservative influencers and pundits, so no one wants to admit it.
"Influencers" have damaged our movement, and what's funny is that they'll call David a grifter and coattail rider for having the courage to run for office on Trump's example, while they built their online following off of Trump and then shifted to DeSantis for business reasons. https://t.co/EH9ujeEPxI
