Court Clears AAP's Sanjay Singh for Rajya Sabha Oath After Chairman's Refusal
AAP leader Sanjay Singh was initially denied the opportunity to take his oath as a Rajya Sabha MP by the Chairman, citing the matter's engagement with the Privileges Committee. Delhi minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj accused the Chairman of violating constitutional provisions, particularly Article 99. AAP also highlighted past allegations of BJP's attempts to bribe its members. A subsequent court order, however, permitted Sanjay Singh to take his Rajya Sabha oath.
