A 21-year-old Cornell University student named Patrick Dai has been arrested for making online threats against Jewish students on campus. Dai, who is originally from Pittsford, New York, faces federal charges for posting threats to kill or injure using interstate communications. The threats included graphic descriptions of violence, such as shooting up a campus building, stabbing or slitting the throat of Jewish men, and raping Jewish women. Cornell University confirms that the person responsible for the antisemitic threats has been identified and taken into custody.
