Catholics across the United States have embarked on a significant pilgrimage, beginning with a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge on May 20. This two-month national walk of faith, part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, will cover 6,500 miles, passing through 27 states and 65 dioceses. The pilgrimage will feature four Eucharistic processions that will converge at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis later this summer. Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament will be carried throughout the journey, symbolizing the faith and devotion of the participants. The event is supported by the Archdiocese of Hartford.
