In the early morning hours of March 19, 2024, Bryan Malinowski, the executive director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Arkansas, was killed during a pre-dawn raid by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). The raid, conducted to execute a search warrant, has sparked significant controversy and scrutiny. ATF agents arrived at Malinowski's home at 6 AM in multiple vehicles, disabled his home security cameras, and did not wear body cameras, which is against Justice Department policy and President Biden's executive order 14074. The House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government are currently holding hearings to investigate the incident. Lawmakers, including Rep. Jerry Nadler and Rep. Jim Jordan, have criticized the ATF's actions, questioning the necessity and conduct of the raid. ATF Director Steven Dettelbach has faced intense questioning from GOP lawmakers during these hearings. Malinowski had only 57 seconds between the time ATF agents disabled his cameras and when he was shot.
The ATF confirmed to the Malinowski family that the agents were not wearing body cameras during the raid, which would be considered a violation of department policy, Mr. Jordan said. https://t.co/TiBc6vpFAE
Today, @JudiciaryGOP held an oversight hearing with @ATFHQ Director Dettelbach. Rep. Spartz raised concerns with a revised vague definition of a gun dealer, which could bring a lot of misunderstanding and endanger lives. In reality, it’s gun control of law abiding citizens. https://t.co/xGbRGcJtHM

Armed ATF agents raided and shot Bryan Malinowski in his home in the early morning hours of March 19th, 2024. The agents who conducted the raid didn't have their body cameras on, despite it being a policy of the ATF. Why? It’s obvious they have something to hide. https://t.co/GDYqxTgWhh

57 seconds. That’s how long Bryan Malinowski had between the time ATF covered his cameras, killed his electricity, broke down his door and then shot him in the head. They were there to execute a search warrant, not a citizen.

Attorney for Bryan Malinowski, a Little Rock airport exec who was killed in an ATF raid testified before the House Judiciary Committee. @Jim_Jordan: “Cover up the doorbell, no body-cams, what are they trying to hide?” https://t.co/IAHuQypTsb
.@ATFHQ ignored their own rules when they showed up to Bryan Malinowski's home because he was SUSPECTED of being “engaged in the business” of dealing firearms. If they will barge in at 6 AM & execute a man to simply serve a search warrant, what will they do to you? https://t.co/hUPCezHEDP
“Somebody is dead because the ATF decided to execute a warrant in the most unprofessional, irresponsible, and dangerous way.” 🎥 : @RepArmstrongND underscores the reckless actions by Biden’s ATF that needlessly took the life of Bryan Malinowski. https://t.co/wZdytDV1VB
"It's not clear if the raid was a no knock encounter because ATF disabled the home camera." @ATFHQ also conveniently forgot to wear their body cameras. All of this to serve a SEARCH WARRANT. Gun owners are under attack. https://t.co/qzf1Y7osWe
