A series of earthquakes have struck various locations, including a 6.7 magnitude earthquake in Banda Sea, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake in western Texas, and a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in Eastern Papua New Guinea. The earthquakes in Texas and Banda Sea caused no reported damage or injuries. The Texas earthquake was the state's second-biggest ever, and the one in Banda Sea was reported by the EMSC. The quake in Texas struck about 23 miles from Mentone, while the one in Papua New Guinea was reported by EMSC.
