In a series of arrests across Northeast Philadelphia and the Bronx, law enforcement officials have apprehended several young individuals linked to violent crimes. Jamaal Tucker and Ahnile Buggs, both 18, were arrested for their involvement in the shooting of eight Northeast High School students near a Dunkin’ Donuts at 7300 Rising Sun Ave in Philadelphia. Additionally, a 19-year-old was taken into custody related to the same incident, with police expecting to charge him. Jermahd Carter, 19, was also arrested by US Marshals for his role in the shooting, while a 17-year-old from Germantown is being sought, with authorities threatening to make his identity public if he does not surrender. The bail for two of the suspects has been set at $16 million dollars each. They are charged with 8 counts of Attempted murder. In the Bronx, a 17-year-old named Tyrell Williams was arrested for the murder of another teen following a social media dispute between their girlfriends. This arrest is part of a wider pattern of youth violence that has also seen other unrelated arrests in the area for severe crimes.
