A New Jersey youth wrestling coach, Alec Donovan, 26, a former state champion and the NCAA's first openly gay college wrestler, has been sentenced on Thursday to 87 months in prison for distributing child sex abuse images of boys as young as eight years old. The sentencing took place in federal court in Trenton, following Donovan's guilty plea to charges related to the distribution of images depicting the sexual abuse of young boys. The U.S. attorney's office announced the sentence, which amounts to more than seven years behind bars.
