Viktor Bunin, a cryptocurrency expert, has stated that inscriptions for any blockchain other than Bitcoin are futile, predicting that they will eventually become worthless on general purpose compute chains. Meanwhile, the Milady Maker account has reportedly dropped a surprise mint, which is being viewed with suspicion due to potential security risks. A smart contract is associated with the mint, but there are concerns that the website could become a wallet drainer. A compromised Milady Maker X page has been reported to be posting phishing links, prompting warnings for users not to interact with it. It's important to note that @MiladyMaker333 is the legitimate Milady account. Additionally, the Injective team has warned against participating in the @inj_inscription mint, alleging that the team behind it is not being forthright and is charging a mint fee that is being deposited into an unverified wallet. Amid these developments, some voices in the crypto community are expressing concern that the focus on which blockchain or currency to mint on indicates a disregard for the art associated with NFTs, suggesting that the primary interest lies in the token value rather than the artistic content.
π¨ BREAKING π¨ URGENT: Avoid engaging in the @inj_inscription MINT. @Injective_ official has just shared this critical update on their Twitter. RT to help others. https://t.co/n3Qml6Qdkl
The fact that the conversation is constantly about which blockchain or currency to mint on is a clear symptom that here art does not matter, only money. So please, stop saying "here for the art". Say better: here for the token. Never minted.π https://t.co/2FND3nj2Wk
Please do not participate in the @inj_inscription mint. The team is not being forthright and is charging a mint fee that is going into an unverified wallet.
PSA: the legit Milady account is @MiladyMaker333 retweet for awareness so people donβt mint projects from the compromised account
Deleted my tweet regarding Milady. Appears to link to a real contract and not a drainer. Still, I am wary of any surprise mint and the intent may very well be malicious. Would recommend avoiding.
Milady Maker account appears to have dropped a surprise mint. Seems suspicious, but there's a smart contract associated with it. There are mints going through. Would recommend avoiding as the website could still migrate to a wallet drainer. https://t.co/ydiAeouaTb
Milady Maker account appears to have dropped a surprise mint. Seems suspicious, but there's a smart contract associated with it. At first glance the code looks safe... The website could still migrate to a wallet drainer. Do your own research. https://t.co/ydiAeouaTb

Inscriptions are dumb for any chain other than Bitcoin, where they are the only possible option to have NFTs. Happy to go on record to say they're all going to zero on the general purpose compute chains.
