T.J. Hockenson of the Minnesota Vikings made NFL history by becoming the first tight end to achieve 10+ receptions, 125+ receiving yards, and a touchdown catch all in a single half of a game against the New Orleans Saints. This feat was also achieved by Zach Ertz for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018. Additionally, Hockenson's outstanding performance included 71 receptions, 681 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns so far in the season. On the other hand, Trey McBride, the tight end for the Arizona Cardinals, has been making waves with his breakout performance, including a 100-yard receiving game, 24 catches for 277 yards, and a score on 34 targets over the last four games. McBride's impressive statistics also include setting career-highs in receiving yards over expected and YAC over expected in Week 10, being targeted on 31.4% of his routes this season, and ranking second in targets per route run behind Travis Kelce. His yards per route run of 2.39 places him just behind Kelce and is the 14th best among all qualifying NFL pass-catchers.
