Miami Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead has been dealing with multiple injuries, including back, ankle, and knee issues. There were initial reports that Armstead would miss multiple weeks due to a knee injury, but it was unclear if he would be placed on injured reserve. However, it has now been confirmed that Armstead will be placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games. The decision to place him on IR was made despite Armstead wanting to beat the four-week timeline. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel anticipates Armstead's return to be close to the four-week minimum absence, making him eligible to return in Week 9 against the Chiefs. Armstead's recovery from the knee injury will be measured in weeks, not days. This is not the first time Armstead has dealt with injuries since joining the Dolphins last year. In the game against the Giants, Armstead was unable to play due to the knee injury. Kendall Lamm replaced him at left tackle.
