The Los Angeles Rams have signed safety Kam Curl to a two-year contract worth up to $12.75 million, making it the first multi-year safety deal for the team since 2019. Curl is considered an under-the-radar player in the NFL.
The Rams officially announced their signing of safety Kam Curl, and already things are intriguing because they are not referring to him as a safety in their announcement but more broadly as a DB.
Kam Curl's two-year deal with the Rams has a base of $8.75M ($4.375M APY) and is worth up to $12.75M with incentives.

Unless I’m missing something significant, the two-year deal for Kam Curl marks the first time the Rams have done a multi-year safety deal since 2019 (Eric Weddle). In years since, they viewed the position as one to target in middle and later draft rounds. An outlier, or a shift?
