The Detroit Lions dominated the first half of the Monday Night Football game against the Las Vegas Raiders, leading 16-7 at halftime. Quarterback Jared Goff threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Sam LaPorta, giving the Lions their first touchdown of the game. LaPorta's touchdown was his fourth of the season, making him the second-highest scoring rookie behind Jordan Addison. The Lions extended their lead in the third quarter, ending the quarter with a score of 23-14.
