Chargers QB Justin Herbert returns to practice with fractured finger and nail injury, expected to play

Justin Herbert, the quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers, returned to practice after the team's bye week wearing a glove on his left hand. It was later revealed that Herbert had suffered a fractured finger on his left hand, as well as a gruesome nail injury, during a previous game. Despite the injury, Herbert managed to finish the game and is not expected to miss any playing time. He was seen wearing a splint and having his middle finger taped during the game.

The Chargers confirmed the injury and stated that Herbert would have played this week if the team had a game. Herbert continued to play with a bandage and splint on his left hand. Overall, the injury to Herbert's finger is not considered a major issue.
