Manhattan and The Bronx experienced significant disruptions due to multiple fires and protest activities. In Manhattan, the FDNY battled a three-alarm fire on Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd and W. 123rd St., and a four-alarm fire at 2059 Powell Avenue, causing smoke and traffic delays. A protest also caused traffic delays near Wall Street & Williams Street, and FDNY activity led to disruptions near West 34th Street & 5th Avenue. In The Bronx, emergency personnel were deployed to Grand Avenue & West 192nd Street for FDNY activity. The fires in Manhattan led to the hospitalization of residents and emergency personnel, including eight police officers and 11 civilians for smoke inhalation, while 160 people were evacuated. Over 100 people were evacuated, with more than 100 returning home. 100 firefighters worked hard to stop the fire from spreading. The London Fire Brigade was thanked for their efforts in fighting a fire in Emperor's Gate, with affected residents being supported at a nearby hotel.

Officers have worked through the night with colleagues from @LondonFire , @Ldn_Ambulance , and @MPSRTPC dealing with a large fire on EMPEROR’S GATE, SW7 8 police officers were taken to hospital after their efforts rescuing residents at scene.
