Rapper G. Dep, also known as Travell Coleman, has been granted clemency by New York Governor Kathy Hochul for a fatal 1993 shooting in East Harlem. Coleman admitted to the murder in 2010 and was sentenced to 15 years in 2011. He will be eligible for parole in 2025. The victim, John Henke, was killed during a botched robbery.
