Congestion pricing in NYC sparks debate as the MTA plans to implement extra tolls on the Harbour Bridge and Tunnel, affecting tens of thousands daily. Public hearings held before the plan takes effect, with concerns raised by various individuals and groups about the impact on working people and the economy. Mayor Eric Adams expresses hesitancy, citing potential burdens on taxpayers and the city's economy. Different perspectives emerge, with criticisms of the plan targeting private drivers, bike lanes, and urban planning decisions.
