Several college basketball players have been named to the Wooden Award's late season top 20 watch list. Paige Bueckers and Aaliyah Edwards are among the players from UConn. LSU, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, UNC, Duke, and Clemson also have multiple players on the list. However, Alabama guard Mark Sears, the SEC's leading scorer, did not make the cut. Memphis' David Jones, who leads the AAC in scoring, has been named to both the Wooden Award's late season top 20 and the top 10 candidate for the 2024 Julius Erving Award.

Clemson's PJ Hall has been named to the Wooden Award's "late season" top-20 watch list. Hall is averaging career highs in points per game, 19.9, rebounds per game, 7.1, and blocks per game, 1.9. He has more blocks in 20 games, 38, than he had all of last season in 33 games, 37.
