The University of Connecticut's men's basketball team, coached by Dan Hurley, faced significant travel delays to Arizona for the NCAAT due to mechanical issues with their plane, which was coming in from Kansas City. Initially scheduled to depart at 6 p.m. ET, logistical and mechanical problems forced a delay. The NCAA, responsible for all travel arrangements for the NCAA Tournament, collaborated with the school and charter airlines to reschedule the departure to approximately 11:30 p.m. ET. The team is now expected to arrive around 2 a.m. The delays have raised concerns as UConn prepares for the Final Four.
