East Carolina gave Tulane everything it could handle but couldn't build on its terrific first quarter in a 13-10 loss. The Pirates had a chance at the upset, and for one afternoon-into-evening, it recalled the days they pillaged ranked opponents like this. But 1-8 is still 1-8.
Michael Pratt a little gimpy after having knee bent on third-down sack, but #Tulane takes first lead on 26-yard field goal by Ambrosio. Wave leads 13-10 and is headed for its fifth nail-biting fourth quarter in five AAC games (won first four).

#Tulane finishes 14-play, 92-yard drive with Lawrence Keys TD catch on third-and-goal from ECU 9. Play under review to see if his knee was down before he crossed goal line. Close. Would be fourth-and-goal if TD overruled.

Did #Tulane underestimate #ECU? The Rowdy Dowdy having an effect early. #Pirates up 10-0 in the first quarter. #AAC #PirateNation
A glorious sunny afternoon in Greenville and 1-7 East Carolina is ... up 10-0 on No. 21 Tulane late in the first quarter? Still very early but until now, their best chance for a second win was probably a Connor Stalions-inducted Michigan retroactive forfeit. They're in this one.
#Tulane has moved up its third-quarter defensive struggled to the start of the game today. After third-down stop nullified by holding call on Lance Robinson, East Carolina buzzed down the field for TD and has early 10-0 lead.
#Tulane fortunate to allow only a field goal on ECU opening drive after leaving receiver uncovered in back of end zone. Airmailed throw well over his head.
