In case Syracuse fans are wondering, the Orange's home loss to Florida State last night resulted in a 14-spot drop in the NET rankings -- from 68 to 82.
From an ACC standings perspective, FSU has really put themselves in a good position here. Already has road wins vs Miami, ND, and Syracuse. Still have trips to UL, BC, GT, and Pitt. Projected to go 12-8, but I’ll certainly take the over on that now. They may finish 3rd.
The thing about Syracuse basketball this year is when they lose, they LOSE. SU's six losses this season (Tennessee, Gonzaga, UVA, Duke, UNC, FSU) have been by an average of 21.6 points.
