Samford University's men's basketball team, the Bulldogs, secured at least a share of the Southern Conference (SoCon) title and the top seed in the conference tournament after defeating ETSU. If UNCG loses, Samford will be the outright champion, marking their first outright SoCon regular-season championship in school history. South Florida clinched a share of the AAC regular-season title with a win, led by coach Amir Abdur-Rahim.

South Florida has clinched a share of the AAC regular-season title after FAU's loss today. Amir Abdur-Rahim has done as good of a coaching job as anyone in the country this season - his first at the helm after taking Kennesaw State to the NCAA tourney last season.
1) Yiiiiikes, FAU, losing to a reeling Memphis team. 2) South Florida now 21-5, 14-1 in the AAC, has won 19 of 20 and 13 straight. 3) USF coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, who went 26-9 at Kennesaw State and nearly beat Xavier in the NCAAT last season, is the real deal.
