Several college quarterbacks have announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal. Utah State's McCae Hillstead, after completing 59.5% of his passes for 1,062 yards and 11 touchdowns in his freshman year and starting four games, has officially entered the portal. Similarly, UCF's Timmy McClain, formerly of USF, with a career tally of 2,953 passing yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 342 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns, is also expected to transfer. Additionally, an athlete from the University of Tennessee thanked Coach Huepel and the institution for the opportunity as he too plans to explore new collegiate opportunities.
