In a college basketball game between No. 1 Houston and Oklahoma, J’Wan Roberts of Houston suffered a finger injury, received stitches, and played with a heavily bandaged hand. Roberts scored 14 to 16 points before leaving due to the injury. LJ Cryer made significant contributions for Houston, scoring 11 consecutive points at one point. The game was closely contested, with Oklahoma tying the score late in the game, but Houston ultimately won 87-85.
From @JeromeSolomon Houston forward J’Wan Roberts still has his right hand bandaged. He received seven stitches between thumb and index finger at halftime of Oklahoma game. https://t.co/RgJQlIzhtZ

I have absolutely no idea how Oklahoma won that game other than grit and sheer luck. There was so much bad but they found a way. Cincinnati helped in that process fouling. But man Porter Moser and the program needed that one. First 20-win season since 2016.
Cincinnati leads 66-64 with :35 to go. Sooners ball #Bearcats
Cincinnati up 62-57 at the final media stop of the night. Buckle up. Again. #Bearcats
Cincinnati has fouled Oklahoma on 3-point attempts four times this half. The Sooners are 12-of-12 on those FT attempts.
Cincinnati up 43-33 with 12:12 to go. Big triples from Newman and James to push the margin. Newman up to 12 and James 7. #Bearcats
Oklahoma is 0-of-4 shooting and has turned it over three times in the first 4:15 of the second half. Not ideal! OU trails Cincinnati, 35-28, with 15:45 left in the game.
Cincinnati leads 35-28 at the first media stop of the half. #Bearcats 3-3 at the rim in transition and 0-4 from 3 in the half court. Sooners cutting off all driving lanes when pace slows. Have to defend and run as much as possible to get out of there with a W.
HALF: Oklahoma trails Cincinnati, 28-27. Sooners briefly took a lead, 27-26, on a Rivaldo Soares step-back 3-pointer, but a turnover late in the half leads to a go-ahead layup for the Bearcats just before the break. All things considered, great effort by OU to get back in this
Oklahoma trails Cincinnati, 24-17, at the under-4 timeout (3:51). Rivaldo Soares with seven for OU, and will need much more if the Sooners want to claw out of this one. Defense has settled, at least, with Cincy missing nine of its last 12 shots after opening the game 8-of-9
Cincinnati leads 24-17 at the final media stop of the half. Oklahoma making a little run the last two segments. #Bearcats need to stabilize and get to the half with some momentum.
Oklahoma is currently #onpace to score about 25 points against Cincinnati
Cincinnati up 18-5 at the under 12 media. Shooting 8-9 from the floor and 2-3 from distance. Meanwhile defense has a stranglehold on the Sooners at 2-10 from the floor and 0-3 from deep. #Bearcats
Oklahoma trails Cincinnati, 14-3, at the under-16 timeout with 14:46 to go in the first half. OU shooting 1-of-5 with three turnovers. Cincy is 6-of-7 from the floor with four assists already. Recipe for disaster so far for the shorthanded Sooners.
Sooners have come out very flat (much like the sparse crowd at the LNC) and are down 7-0 to Cincinnati in the opening 1:43. Two turnovers already for Oklahoma; Simas Lukosius with five early points for Cincy.
