Florida State University (FSU) has announced on May 14 that Dick Howser Stadium will be able to host this weekend's regular-season finale series against Georgia Tech. The stadium sustained damage last week due to a tornado, but significant repairs have been made, including the removal of a bent fence and foul pole in right field and a ripped stadium sign beneath the scoreboard.
Tip of the cap to Tennessee for keeping this game on the schedule and not even using weather as an excuse to scrap it. Looking around the rest of the college baseball world this week, that's a rarity.
