Florida State University (FSU) has filed a lawsuit against the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) following their football team's exclusion from the 2023-2024 College Football Playoff (CFP), despite a 13-0 undefeated season. The lawsuit describes the 'stunning decision' to exclude FSU in favor of two one-loss teams from competing Power Four conferences, underscoring the ACC's failure to meet its fundamental commitments to its member schools. This issue is compounded by FSU's previous demands for a larger share of ACC revenue, citing their status as a 'premiere' ACC program, despite not having won the conference in the nine years prior to their undefeated season.

I think FSU was screwed out of the CFP this year. I also find it hilarious that they were crowing about needing a bigger cut of ACC revenue BEFORE the 13-0 season because they’re a “premiere” ACC program—that hadn’t won the conference in 9 years prior to this season.
