Florida Atlantic University (FAU) secured a 96-89 victory over Texas A&M, marking their return to top 10 form. Alijah Martin and Johnell Davis combined for 51 points, the first time since 2014 that two FAU players scored 25+ points each in a game. Martin, recovering from a stress fracture, and Davis were supported by Vlad Goldin and Bryan Greenlee in the win. Texas A&M, previously undefeated, was hampered by an injury to Henry Coleman. FAU, seemingly awakened by their loss to Bryant, now awaits the winner of the Iowa State/Virginia Tech match for the title game.

Florida Atlantic is still the real deal. Owls hit 16 of 30 3s, got 51 points Johnell Davis and Alijah Martin, and nearly hung 100 on previously undefeated Texas A&M. Aggies got a monster game from Wade Taylor (35 points) but lost Henry Coleman to injury. They need him, big-time.
Nice win for FAU over Texas A&M. Aggies were without Henry Coleman for the entire second half because of a lower leg injury. Sure hope he’s okay he has been fabulous.
Alijah Martin finally looks like last season’s Alijah Martin and Florida Atlantic showing signs of last season’s FAU. Owls drop 96 in win over Texas A&M. Martin & Johnell Davis combine for 51 points — first time since 2014 FAU had two players with 25+ apiece, per @ESPNStatsInfo.
FAU gets combined 51 points from Johnell Davis and Alijah Martin in 96-89 win over Texas A&M, and the Owls finally looked like a Top 10 team. Vlad Goldin and Bryan Greenlee both huge for FAU down the stretch also. FAU gets Iowa State/Virginia Tech winner in title game.
Johnell Davis and Alijah Martin have now combined for 37 points with 17 minutes left. FAU leads Texas A&M, 60-47. Davis and Martin: 14-of-22 from the field and 9-of-16 from 3. Gotta wonder if that loss to Bryant was a wakeup call for FAU.
Good to see Alijah Martin finally look like himself. Missed time in the preseason due to stress fracture and struggled in the first few games for FAU. FAU now up over Texas A&M at the break, 46-44. Some great guards in this one between Martin, Johnell Davis and Wade Taylor… https://t.co/QbGboY5qvD
