I might be in the minority and Dabo might be a weird dude sometimes, but I liked what he said on his radio show and largely agree with it.
Dabo Swinney was as fiery as ever tonight, unloading on a caller to his radio show who asked why Clemson's coach was being paid "$11.5 million to go 4-4." Transcribed and published Swinney's response as fully as possible here. https://t.co/2JxmSkTNGJ
New on @TheNFLWire: Dabo Swinney, who once said that he'd rather coach in the NFL than see his players paid, further proved his status as a goofball when he went off on a young radio caller who had legit questions about Clemson's 4-4 record. https://t.co/zbZWluawLj
The Dabo call is everything I wanted it to be and somehow more.

Dabo Swinney went scorched earth on Tyler from Spartanburg during his radio call-in show on Monday. Here’s the question from Tyler and answer from Swinney via (@CFBKings) https://t.co/oaqpbUipCp
Part of the question to Dabo included: You sound like Tommy Bowden but make a lot more money Have you read Proverbs 16:18, which talks about pride before the fall And saying Dabo has been arrogant since 2018 For someone with Dabo's resume, I don't blame him for being fired up.

Working on the audio but got a full transcript here of Dabo Swinney's radio show rant tonight ... among many, many highlights: "I’ve worked my ass off every single day. And I ain’t gonna let some smart-ass kid get on this phone and create this stuff" https://t.co/eE2Le8q00n
Just listened to the full call/question and full rant/response from Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney on his Tigers Calls call-in show. Simply incredible. It was awesome. All around. The call was great. The rant was all-time.
We can all make fun of Dabo’s response to the question. And I can’t wait to hear the audio. But asking a guy who has won 10-plus games for 12 straight years why he’s making so much money is just dumb. Dabo’s response should’ve been: “Tommy Bowden is still available!”
Dabo may be fired up tonight, but he’s still not in the territory of Jerry Green telling Tennessee fans they can go “to the K-Mart” if they don’t like the way he’s running the basketball team. Dang near ran my car off the road listening to that particular edition of Vol Calls.
Listening back to Dabo Swinney's answer to an angry radio show caller. Thread of some highlights, starting with: "You can have your opinion all you want, and you can apply for the job. And good luck to you."
“You're part of the problem. If you wanna apply for the job, go for it. And good luck to you.” Clemson’s Dabo Swinney to an angry fan tonight after the Tigers’ 4-4 start. https://t.co/wyKsZSj0hi
Dabo Swinney is as fired up on the call-in show right now as I've ever heard him.
Dabo is absolutely BLOWING UP a fan named Tyler from Spartanburg who doesn't like the way he's running the program and "making $11.5 million for 4-4." Wowzas. https://t.co/oUSg0JLbyQ
Dabo Swinney ripping into a fan who asks him why Clemson's paying him a huge salary just to go 4-4. "You're part of the problem." Also says to the fan, Tyler, "if you wanna apply for the job, go for it. And good luck to you" This is a lengthy, fiery answer here by Dabo
