The annual Alabama-Tennessee rivalry game may come to an end if the Southeastern Conference (SEC) adopts a 7+1 format, according to Alabama coach Nick Saban. Saban acknowledged that such changes are happening across college football, where great rivalry games that players, fans, and programs look forward to may no longer be scheduled. The last time Tennessee beat Alabama in back-to-back years was in 2003-2004, and no one has defeated Alabama coach Nick Saban twice in nearly a decade.
