AAC commish Mike Aresco told me today he will still push for 6+6 under the current contract, which lasts another 2 years. That would give the G5 TWO guaranteed champs in the 12-team CFP if no Pac-12. In order for it to change it has to be unanimous. He will go 5+7 in new deal.
