The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament is grappling with severe weather conditions, as meteorologist Kevin Roth reported wind gusts reaching 59mph, and other reports indicated gusts as high as 45 mph. The winds are so strong that Tony Finau resorted to using a driver on the 106-yard 7th hole, humorously described as a '13-club wind'. The conditions have already caused a structural beam to fly off the media center's roof. In the midst of these challenging conditions, Nick Dunlap, who recently won a PGA Tour event and became the first amateur since Phil Mickelson in 1991 to win a pro golf tournament, has turned professional, signing with Jon Rahm's LIV Golf team. Dunlap, who once played Pebble Beach on his Playstation, demonstrated his adaptability to the windy conditions by hitting a 5 iron from 164 yards to 12 feet on the 17th hole.

🏌️♂️☔️🌬️ I’m no golf expert, but I’m pretty sure 59mph wind gusts are bad for business. My PGA weather forecast for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is up: https://t.co/AEWJgkt2i9 If you prefer the classic color coded version: https://t.co/25E45GQyFX https://t.co/TSeiORcSSP
