Klay Thompson, a key player for the Warriors, is irreplaceable and has been struggling with frustration during contract negotiations. Despite early struggles, he has shown improvement, scoring 20 points or more in 4 of the last 5 games. He has also been effective defensively, holding up well against top opponents and contributing to the team's success, especially when playing with the second unit.
Yeah, Klay feels great as a first option with the second unit. He can get his and get in rhythm, knowing he's by far the best scorer on the floor. This probably stops him from forcing up bad shots due to lack of touches down the stretch as well.
Klay is out of his mind lol the good and the bad in a 3 min span dribbling off his foot and bricks then 5 straight to keep GSW up 7
Thank you, Klay. Mostly solid from start to finish. 20 points or more in 4 of the last 5 games. Might be time to say the early struggles are behind him offensively, although he still has to watch his shot selection in crunch time.
Klay has been really good on Kawhi tonight, as he was on KD opening night. When he's not in a speed matchup, he still holds up well.
Klay has barely gotten touches and has taken one shot since coming back in with 3 mins left in the 3rd and playing without Steph the entire time.
Klay in for Curry -- this has been where Podziemski has come in lately... More Klay time with CP3. Their minutes have been very good this season.
Contract negotiations with the Warriors are โweighingโ on Klay Thompson, per @kendra__andrews โHe appears to be noticeably more frustrated during games. He sometimes sits on the end of the bench by himself during timeouts, or slaps his head after taking a bad shot.โ https://t.co/ZNycDR9eYi
Klay Thompson is irreplaceable. He's started slowly, but there's nobody on this roster or anybody available from another that could do what he does for the Warriors. And Klay's fighting to get everybody to remember that. https://t.co/WfhBQ84Rgh https://t.co/WfhBQ84Rgh
