Luka Dončić of the Mavericks has been dealing with a right ankle sprain, causing him to miss games against the Knicks and the West-leading Minnesota. Dereck Lively II and Dante Exum have also been sidelined due to ankle and plantar fascia sprains. Maxi Kleber and Grant Williams were listed as doubtful and questionable for upcoming games due to toe and ankle injuries. Despite an upgrade for Kleber, Dončić remained out for the game against the Knicks and was still sidelined for the upcoming game against New Orleans.
