The Los Angeles Lakers concluded their six-game road trip with a 124-118 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, marking their third consecutive win and improving their record to 27-25. Anthony Davis achieved his third career triple-double with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists, while also contributing 3 blocks. D'Angelo Russell added 28 points with 6 assists and 5 threes, and LeBron James provided 26 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Lakers' performance against the Hornets was a collective effort, with the team shooting 64.4% overall and 100% on free throws. Brandon Miller of the Hornets had a standout performance, scoring a career-high 35 points, while Miles Bridges contributed 41 points with 5 3PM. As the Lakers head into the NBA trade deadline, there is speculation on how the team will adjust, especially considering the recent injury to player Vando and the upcoming celebration of Kobe Bryant with the unveiling of his statue.

Lakers winning three games in a row feels like 10. 4-2 on this road trip is good!
That said, a 4-2 roadie is a 4-2 roadie. Doesn't give you any better an idea what to make of these Lakers, but along similar lines, a three-game winning streak is a three-game winning streak. AK https://t.co/YZUrMfL0hO
The Lakers made it harder than it should have been, but beat CHA 124-118 to finish out their six-game road trip with a 4-2 record. D-Lo 28p 6a; LeBron 26p 7a 4r 4tos; AD 26p 15r 11a 3b; Reaves 9p 11a 5tos. Next game: Thurs vs. DEN, which tips off 7 hours after the deadline
27-25. Somehow, they finished the road trip at 4-2. I'll admit to being surprised that they went 4-2 but it's even more surprising on how they did it. And of course, I expected the Lakers to have a hard time against Charlotte. I can't completely trust them in these situations.
Lakers will take a three-game winning streak into the trade deadline after outlasting the Hornets in Charlotte. A big few days for Rob Pelinka and Co. figuring out what -- if anything -- this team can do.
Final: Lakers 124, Hornets 118 LA staves off Charlotte's comeback to finish the Grammy road trip 4-2. They improve to 27-25 -- the first time they've been two games over .500 since Dec. 28. AD had 26 pts, 15 rebs and 11 asts. Up next: the trade deadline, Kobe statue and Denver.

Anthony Davis sealed the win, and a 4-2 Grammy Road Trip, by blocking Bridges, leading to 2 FT's from Reaves, and then clearing a defensive board on the next trip, and hitting 2 FT's himself. Davis: 26 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 blocks
Brandon Miller has gone supernova out here, scoring 10 straight points for Charlotte to give the Hornets a chance in the waning minutes.
And with that slick feed to Christian Wood at the rim, Anthony Davis just notched his 10th assist and a 16/10/10 triple-double. (And in the time it took me to type that, he made it 16/11/11.) AK
Anthony Davis has a triple-double and we're only in the third.

The Lakers, 7-19 on the road just last week, are now 10-17 thanks to dominating at Charlotte tonight. This team does not need to make a trade. It just needs to get healthy. IT DEFINITELY CAN CONTEND.
Halftime: Lakers 74, Hornets 58 LA outscored Charlotte 37-29 in both the first and second quarters. DLo has 22 points on 8-14 FGs. LeBron James has 17 points and 4 assists. AD has 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. He's handled doubles really well. LA is living at the rim.
Strong first half performance by LAL against a struggling CHA team, taking a 74-58 lead into the break. D-Lo 22p; LeBron 17p 4a; AD 12p 8a 5r. LAL is shooting 64.4% overall and 100% on FTs (11-for-11)
As @LakerFilmRoom laid out in the video below, Anthony Davis has been terrific with his passing out of the post, and grown a ton with how he deals with double teams this season. He's up to 4 assists already tonight. https://t.co/ve9nTNa6rA
No. 2 overall pick Brandon Miller (age 21), who's played very well of late and scored 8 points in the 1st Q, just had his first chance to defend LeBron; James backed him under the hoop, waited for help to come, up-faked, and rose for a 7-foot J. LAL up 10, time out Hornets.
It wasn't LAL's best defensive 1st Q on this 6th game of the 6-game trip, but they scored the ball with relative ease, taking a 37-29 lead into the 2nd Q, with 8 points from AD to go with 9 from Russell.
