Hall of Fame coach Bob Knight has passed away at the age of 83. Rick Carlisle, former player and coach under Knight, reflects on his time with him. Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens, who is from Indiana, also remembers Knight fondly. Some writers and commentators, however, criticize Knight for his bullying behavior.
Had this in my head last few days. Bobby Knight was such a CHARACTER! But hearing stories that didn’t get told as much, day to day he made a lot of people feel inferior. He was a bad bully at times. His legacy is complex.

I've been on the Bobby Knight fence since he went around the room after a game at Assembly Hall, shook every sportswriter's hand and made a wisecrack at our expense. But this Bill Dwyre column says it all: Knight was a bully who shouldn't be celebrated. https://t.co/j8k3Dkov33
