Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets faced criticism for his performance in a game against the Giants. Lindor's actions, including not swinging on a full count pitch and striking out after putting the bat back on his shoulder, raised concerns. The Mets struggled with their bullpen, defense, and hitting with runners in scoring position, resulting in a losing streak. Lindor acknowledged the need to improve amidst the team's challenges.

Should probably amend what I said here earlier today: the Mets do appear to be this bad. Diaz/bullpen a mess; More costly defense. And 0-for 13 RISP today vs. Giants. Lindor could have saved the day with a single in the bottom of 9th; rolled over on a slider for ground out to 2B.
Did Francisco Lindor just give up on a full count pitch? Don’t let @NjTank99 see this https://t.co/Tn7XlDRHNI
Not sure what the thought process is in continuing to bat Lindor at leadoff? He has the lowest avg, obp, and slg on the team. Move him to the 7/8 hole till he works stuff out already!!! #Mets @Mets
