Francisco Lindor delivered an impressive performance, going 4-for-5 with two home runs in a recent game, contributing significantly to the Mets' 8-2 victory. His performance marked a notable improvement, particularly as a left-handed hitter, where he showed enhanced skill in handling breaking pitches and hitting sliders effectively. This improvement was evident during a road trip that concluded with this two-homer game. Following the game, both Mets' bench coach Carlos Mendoza and pitcher Sean Manaea commented on Lindor's performance, highlighting its importance to the team. The Mets are set to take on the Cardinals next.

As bad as Webb made him look last night, Lindor made big strides on the road trip as LH hitter, capped by 2-HR game today. Starting in LA he wasn't as jumpy on the breaking stuff, going the other way, and crushed a couple of sliders today. Obviously huge for Mets if he takes off.
