Bryce Harper, outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies, collided with Matt Olson of the Oakland Athletics at first base, causing an apparent injury to Harper's right elbow. Harper, who had surgery on the same elbow last offseason, was seen in significant pain after the collision. Despite this, he returned to the game in the ninth inning. Harper later reassured fans that Olson had hit his 'funny bone' and that he was fine. The full extent of his injury is yet to be determined.
