Boise State's football team secured a 42-14 victory over New Mexico. Madsen threw a 42-yard TD pass to Bolt and a 74-yard TD pass to Strachan. Holani and Merritt also scored touchdowns. Boise State will elevate Ron Collins, longtime coach and current defensive analyst, to a full-time assistant with Spencer Danielson taking over as interim head coach. Collins will be in the booth, with Danielson moving down to the field. Danielson will still call the defense.
